Winter is actually an excellent time to get your carpet, upholstery, & air ducts cleaned. Service providers, like myself, are generally slower in the Chicagoland area. This means good deals, especially when items are added while the technician is there.

Since we don’t have as much pressure to stay on schedule, we can do pick up rooms and furniture for less.

Carpet and upholstery also dries very quickly with the low humidity in the home. As they do, the overall humidity in the room rises to temporarily alleviate that winter dryness.

Communication Difficulties

Due to the complexities of our recent expansion I must apologize for being tough to reach personally.

I generally call back my missed calls without checking messages so they tend to stack up. It is always better if you text or email if unable to reach me by voice.

I personally carry a smart phone 847.525.4160, a backup dumb phone 773.297.1232, and now a Droid tablet that can do all but voice at 224.577.7714.

Due to this impressive, and sometimes annoying, level of technology I can respond more quickly to text and emails at absolutecleanin@yahoo.com, than I can to voice in some cases.

Does our competition’s air duct pricing coupon sound too low?

Let common sense guide you. If anybody is offering a $20 coupon to clean your whole single furnace home with super powerful equipment and throwing in a dryer vent cleaning this is come-on bait and switch ad.

A proper cleaning in a moderate sized 1,800 sq ft home is going to take two technicians carrying in excess of $5K in equipment anywhere from three to five hours and will last three to five years no matter what equipment is used. Who could stay in business charging $20 for that?

Here is what they do. They tell you that you have mold and need about $300 in anti-microbial sanitiazer (we charge about $90 if you want it), a UV light (little benefit to you) for another $300, and who knows what else. Then, if you don’t sign and insist upon the $20, they connect to one went and are done faster than their sales pitch. Buyer beware!
